Internal decapitation victim recovers policy limits

Our client was a passenger in a cone-car accident resulting in catastrophic injuries.  The physicians diagnosed her as having sustained an internal decapitation.  Her medical bills totaled in the hundreds of thousands.  The driver (the person responsible for the crash) had no assets.  Nonetheless, we were able to settle the case for the policy limits of both the liability policy and the uninsured motorist policy.  Unfortunately, there still remained the thousands upon thousands of medical liens.  After a substantial amount of effort, we were able to get those medical liens reduced by a substantial amount.  In fact, we were able to get one lien alone reduce by over a quarter million dollars.  Thus, all of our clients medical bills and liens were satified and our client also received compensation.
